How it started

In 2001, my career journey commenced at BigApple Consulting, a dynamic workplace focused on telephone-based brokerage activities aimed at promoting penny stocks. As a top producer, I excelled in this role, securing a special arrangement to work with Mac Report Media, symbol MRPT, a company trading stocks valued above $1.00 per share. My efforts resulted in significant stock movement and success within this environment.

In 2009, I transitioned to a social media marketing firm specializing in chiropractors and cosmetic dentists, delving deep into the strategies of building social networks, enhancing engagement, and effectively marketing products and services online. By 2010, the culmination of my diverse experiences became apparent. I found myself in Marcellus, NY, the very town where MacReport Media, the leading reseller of PR Newswire and Marketwired services, was headquartered. As Vice President of Sales and Marketing, I collaborated with numerous public companies, overseeing their press release distribution, email campaigns, social media initiatives, website development, and marketing endeavors. It was during this time that my true essence as a Facilitator emerged, as I assisted public companies in effectively communicating with investors, traders, and the broader public, which proved to be immensely fulfilling.

In 2014, J Ramsdell Consulting was established on April 16th. Finally, I could concentrate on a select number of clients and deliver the caliber of service that my integrity demands. Since embarking on this entrepreneurial journey, I have been fortunate to be surrounded by a cadre of indispensable individuals who have enabled us to surpass many of today's Investor Relations (IR) firms. Offering a comprehensive suite of services, we aid our clients in elevating their operations to the next level, whether by expanding their shareholder base, enhancing visibility in the investment community, or facilitating an uplisting to a major exchange. Effectively managing real-time communications online with investors and shareholders is paramount to nurturing a long-term shareholder base and realizing a company’s objectives.

A prolific author with thousands of published articles and a keen understanding of human behavior (thanks to his Ohio University psychology background), Mr. Klips adds measurable value and insightful thinking to any team.

Rick’s work has centered on conceiving and executing comprehensive company communications strategies aimed at raising media and investor awareness of clients’ shares. He has written and edited a wide range of clients’ news and marketing materials, placed client news in leading business/financial media such as Bloomberg, CNBC, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal as well as leading trade and investment media such as Seeking Alpha and Benzinga. In most cases, Rick’s work has resulted in ongoing relationships with many of the aforementioned outlets -- ensuring his clients a steady stream of publicity as well as strong support for their shares.
